Also, white wine goes amazingly with summery dishes, and its fresh fruitiness just suits the season. And let’s face it, if you choose white wine, you can drink a fair bit more of it than you can hard liquor before things start to go south, thus prolonging your enjoyment. Plus, it’s cheaper! Who can argue with that?
