You will need:
• A small round pumpkin
• A metal spoon
• Knife
• Cellophane
• Floral foam
• Flowers (fresh or dried)
Cut open pumpkin by carving a circle around the stem. Be sure the opening is big enough for your plastic container to fit inside. Using the spoon, scoop out the insides. Store the pumpkin insides to make a pumpkin soup or a pumpkin puree and separate the seeds and roast them for a delicious snack.
With your hands, pat try the insides and place the plastic cellophane inside. Then cut your floral foam in the appropriate size and place it on top of the cellopphane. This will be the base of the vase.
Add seasonal flowers and water. If you are using dried flowers, just arrange them.
The autumn vase is ready to be the centerpiece of the table!
