Make delicious Greek Skordalia at home courtesy of METRO! The below recipe make about 700-800g.
Ingredients:
Bread crumbs from a fresh loaf of village bread
150 ml olive oil
100 ml water
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp salt
8 cloves of garlic
100g skinless almonds
Directions:
Put the bread crumbs, garlic cloves and salt in a blender or food processor, and mix. | |
Slowly add the olive oil. |

After that, add some water and lemon juice while continuing to mix. | |
Lastly, add the almonds and mix for roughly 10 minutes, adding a little bit of water if necessary.
