Delicious overnight oats

Have you ever heard of overnight oats?! This is a way to make oats-based breakfast, preparing it the previous night, leaving it overnight and enjoying it in the morning? We will not only show you how to prepare it, but also give you ideas for tasty combinations.

If you are in a hurry in the morning, getting ready for work and making a breakfast for the whole family, this recipe with overnight oats is the perfect solution! You can prepare it from the evening of the previous day and it is not only an easy solution but also a very delicious and healthy breakfast!

 

Ingredients (For a large serving)

For the base

Maison Jars or simple glass jars

1/3 cup plain yogurt

½ cup. oats

2/3 cup. milk

Honey (as much as you like)

 

Optional Ingredients (depending on the combinations you want to make)

1 tbsp. seeds (chia, flaxseed etc.)

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 tbsp. raisins

1-2 tbsp. nuts, coarsely chopped

2-3 strawberries, cut vertically

1 banana cut into small pieces

 

Execution

In a medium-sized bowl, whisk vigorously all the base ingredients (better with a hand mixer). If you are going to have seeds, add them to the mixture and then mix.

Empty the oats mixture in your glass container and top up with various fruits, nuts, raisins and so on. Close the jar with the lid and leave it in the fridge for at least 4 hours or, ideally overnight.

Enjoy your delicious and nutritious breakfast, the next morning, digging in with a spoon!
