The perfect way to watch the Mundial games, is to drink beer and these pizza balls, either fried or baked, are the perfect pairing!
If you’re baking the pizza balls, preheat your oven to 230C.
Roll out the pizza dough so that it’s about 0,5 cm thick. Using a round cup or a 5 cm cookie cutter, cut out rounds.
Top each round with a pepperoni slice and a piece of mozzarella cheese. Ring dough up around filling. Press edge to seal and shape into ball. Repeat with the remaining dough. If you are baking these, place the balls on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes or until golden. If you are frying, heat oil in a cast iron pot or a large skillet. Fry a few balls at a time until golden brown. Serve with ketchup and sprinkle some freshly grated parmesan cheese on top.
