Ingredients: (for 12 pieces)
50 g. butter or margarine
300 g. marshmallows
275 g. Coco Pops Chocos cereal
80 g. White chocolate
80 g. Dark (or any other milk) chocolate
Method:
1. Place your marshmallows and butter in a heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat.
2. As the marshmallows begin to warm up and the butter starts to melt, the two will form a sticky syrupy mixture which you will need to stir with a wooden spoon to ensure that the ingredients combine well with each other. Then remove the saucepan from the heat.
3. Next, take a large bowl and throw in your coco pops and the melted marshmallow gloop and mix well.
4. Pour the mixture into a baking tray lined with non-stick parchment paper and press the mix down with the back of a spoon to even it out so as to take on a cake form.
5. Set the baking tray aside, place your white chocolate and dark chocolate in two separate bowls and put them in the microwave to melt. Remove the bowls intermittently from the microwave in order to stir the chocolates so that what you are left with is two delectable smooth melted chocolate sauces.
6. Next, use two different spoons in order to drizzle the melted chocolates over the cake in a zig zag pattern or in any other design that tickles your fancy.
7. Then leave the cake to set overnight, or for a least two hours until it thoroughly cools so that you can chop it into 12 squares with the help of a sharp knife.
And then get munching!
