A chocolate hedgehog for young confectioners!

This is not only delicious, but also a very easy, creative and enjoyable recipe. We are talking about the "chocolate hedgehog" recipe, which even young children can make by themselves, thereby developing their creativity. Naturally, young confectioners will enjoy their experience even more, if they make this recipe together with their Mum!

You will need…
4 packets of petit-beurre biscuits
1 packet of butter
1 tin of sweetened condensed milk
4 tablespoons of cocoa

For decoration
Praline spread for the topping
200 grams of chocolate "buttons" for the bristles
4 small coloured chocolates/sweets for the eyes, nose and mouth
4 to 5 drops of green food colouring for the grass around the hedgehog (optional)

Let's go...
We crush the biscuits. Melt the butter; it should be not be too hot, so that we (we and the children) can hold it in our hands. We pour the butter, sweetened condensed milk, cocoa and biscuits into a bowl and mix the ingredients all together. We make the mixture into a ball, wrap it in cellophane and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour. We remove the ball from the refrigerator and we shape it to look like a hedgehog. We put the hedgehog in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
We spread the praline on top and decorate it with chocolate buttons for the bristles. If we want them to look more spiky, we can use pine nuts or halved white almonds, instead. We place the small coloured chocolates or sweets that we have selected for the eyes, mouth and nose. We decorate the hedgehog's platter with confectionery food colouring.

Tip
If we want, we can divide the mixture into two or more portions and make small hedgehogs.
