If you don't feel like oily chicken schnitzel, why not cooking it in the oven and make it a little bit more healthy. Oven-baked schnitzel is delicious.
Ingredients:
6 boneless pork chops
1 container low fat yogurt
1 cup milk, 1.5% fat
300g grated cheddar mild
salt, pepper, sweet paprika
Directions:
Grease an oven tray, drizzle the schnitzels on both sides, and place them on the tray. Add salt and pepper and sprinkle the sweet paprika on both sides of the schnitzels.
In a large glass, mix yogurt and milk with a small electric hand mixer. Pour the resulting cream over the schnitzels. Finally, sprinkle the grated cheese on the schnitzels.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C, for about 40 minutes, until the meat soaks up most of the liquids. Serve immediately with peas, corn or beans.
Tip: For a lighter meal, use a lighter-fat cheese.
