Knocking on Xmas' Door!

To get your guests into the Christmas spirit from the moment you enter the house, why don’t you place a Christmas wreath on your front door?  These are some decorating ideas to make your own Christmas wreath, along with your children.

 You'll need:

-A green wreath as a base. Make sure it's solid enough to support the decorative items you will add.
Depending on the wreath you choose, you may need some of the following:
-White spray that gives the effect of snow.
-Gold or silver spray. Both look wonderful on the dark green color of the wreath.
-Decorative fake red berries.
-Christmas ornaments, for example, baubles, stars, figures, and anything else that matches with your theme.
-Ribbons, for example, white, gold, silver, green or red.
- Twine, glue, scissors.
- Pine nuts
- Fake poinsettia leaves
- Cinnamon sticks

The first thing you have to do is decide your "theme" eg. white Christmas, golden wreath, traditional with red and green details etc. We will give you some ideas.

The elegant one

Sprinkle the wreath with white spray ( or you can simply just leave it in its natural green color) and then glue white or white baubles of various sizes on it. If you have other white ornaments like angels, place them to give a more playful feel. If you wish to add a gold item, glue gold baubles or glue a big golden bow at the bottom of your wreath. You can also add, along with the gold baubles, some white and transparent ones for a more "rich" effect.

The traditional one

The main colors of Christmas are green and red. Thus most of the decorative objects in this wreath will be red, for example: a) baubles, either in the same size or in a different ones, placed on the wreath, b) a bow placed on the bottom or top of the crown, c) red fake berries that can be placed with glue in the bow and d) φake poinsettia leaves. For extra color, if you have small pines, you can paint them with silver or gold spray and glue them on the wreath.
The rustic one

If your wreath base is not made of leaves but of branches, you can give a more rustic look to your creation. Glue on the leaves red and gold baubles of any size you want to. This is your base. Afterwards, using a twine hang on some cinnamon sticks and wooden ornaments, for example, stars and trees.
The minimal one

Glue small pine nuts on your wreath. Afterwards sprinkle with the white spray, leaving some spots in their green color. Finally, glue a red ribbon on top of the wreath.
