Aromas of spring at home

1. Lemon and Rosemary
Leave your house smelling fresh and clean with this DIY all-natural room scent. Top up a glass jar with slices of 2 small lemons, 3-4 rosemary sticks and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Top up with water. When ready to use, pour contents of jar into a sauce pan along with an extra cup of water. Bring water to a boil on the stove and then reduce to a low simmer. Return the mix to the jar and leave it open so its aromas fill the room!

2. DIY Plug-In Refill
Don't throw out your empty plug-in air fresheners. You can reuse the glass plug-in container. All you'll need is some essential oil and water. Take the freshener and carefully remove the wick. Fill the empty jar with 10-12 drops of essential oils e.g. lemon that gives a sense of freshness and top up with water. Put the wick back in, seal well, shake and it is ready to re-use!

3. DIY Reed Diffuser
Add fragrance to any room with an easy-to-make reed diffuser. All you'll need is a glass container with a small opening, bamboo sticks for barbecue , alcohol, almond oil, and essential oil. Choose lavender oil for a fresh, calming scent for a common area or bedroom. Lemon essential oil is perfect for the kitchen. Pour ⅓ cup almond oil and 1 tablespoon of alcohol into your container, add 15 drops of your essential oils, then give them a little stir. Next, add 3-5 rattan reeds to your container and move them around a little. The oils will take an hour or two to move up through your reeds, then you will be able to smell the scent that it gives off.

4. Violet is in the air
Who doesn't love the subtle smell of violet? You can have your home smelling like a spring breeze with this violet room spray, which is made with water, vodka, and violet oil. In a spray bottle, add 2 cups of water, 1 cup of vodka and 15 drops of violet oil Shake well and spread in the air!
