Homemade Sensitive Skin Face Mask

03 December 2014
Eggs and lemons aren’t just for soup anymore! Try em’ on your face for baby soft results!

This therapeutic face mask is just what the doctor ordered for sensitive skin prone to redness or irritation. Utilizing the antiseptic properties of lemon and the myriad benefits of egg white, this mask soothes your skin for a fraction of the cost of store bought masks, in just minutes!

You’ll need the juice of ½ a lemon, and one egg white. Beat the egg white in a small bowl. Loosely mix in the lemon juice. Spread the mixture on your face with your finger or a small spatula making sure not to apply to the eye area. Wear the mask for 15 minutes and then rinse off with warm water. Alternatively, you can keep the mask on overnight and rinse it off in the morning.

The bleaching power and the antiseptic properties of lemon are reinforced by the egg white, and together these two unassuming foods work to leave your face soothed and grease free.
